PharmaByMD started as a personal project during postgraduate pharmacology preparation — and grew into something much bigger.
During postgraduate pharmacology preparation, the gap between standard textbooks and actual exam requirements becomes painfully clear. Textbooks are exhaustive — but exams demand precision, structure, and clinical relevance that no single book delivers consistently.
PharmaByMD began as one postgraduate’s personal set of notes — synthesised from multiple sources, organised by exam pattern, and refined through every theory paper and viva.
PharmaByMD is the result of that realisation: a dedicated space for pharmacology postgraduates who want high-quality, exam-focused resources — built by someone who has been exactly where they are.
Every part of this project began with one person’s belief in it. PharmaByMD — and the StatMD live-polling tool and CuraClash learning game built alongside it — would not exist without my guide and mentor, Dr. Pooja Reddy.
Through countless discussions, patient corrections, and steady encouragement, she showed me that good teaching is worth building for — that a clearer explanation, a sharper question, or a more engaging way to learn can genuinely change how a student understands pharmacology. Her conviction that teaching can always be made better is the idea this entire project is built on.
What started as a handful of personal notes grew, under her guidance, into a platform I hope serves postgraduates everywhere — and a small way of passing on the same care she showed me. For believing in it before I did, and for showing me what it could become, I’m deeply grateful.
Thank you, ma’am — for the guidance, the inspiration, and everything that made this possible. 🙏
Every note, article, and resource is built around what actually gets tested — not what fills pages. We respect your time.
All content is reviewed against current guidelines and standard references. We don’t publish anything we wouldn’t stake our own viva answers on.
Pharmacology postgraduates are a small, close-knit group. We’re here to support the entire community — not gatekeep resources.
PharmaByMD doesn’t sell notes directly (yet). Our partner AuraPharmLab publishes PharmaNotes Pro — a subscription library of 240+ exam-shaped MD Pharmacology chapters, updated weekly, with an 813-page recurring-question answer bank included.
You subscribe on AuraPharmLab (monthly or annual). Because the notes are sold and supported by AuraPharmLab, their billing and refund terms apply — see the PharmaNotes Pro page on aurapharmlab.com.
They’re handled by our partner AuraPharmLab, following a simple Brief → Quote → Deliver → Iterate process — an honest, itemised quote and drafts at fixed checkpoints. Timelines depend on the work, so ask them for a quote.
Yes — share your target journal’s author guidelines and AuraPharmLab formats to match, including Vancouver referencing and IMRaD structure. Visit aurapharmlab.com to start a project.
